Xport-NO3 is a biomedia cube engineered with NanoIntelex technology, providing superior denitrification capabilities within almost any aquarium. This cube boasts an open structure and high surface area, delivering up to 300% greater efficiency than traditional biomedia. Xport-NO3 can be utilized for systems with minimal or heavily stocked aquascapes and is ideal for removing nitrates. The biomedia should be pre-conditioned in purified water with 20ml of MicroBacter7, then placed in a filter medium such as a canister filter or media reactor. To ensure optimal denitrification, the cubes should have a flow rate of 1-3x the total aquarium volume per hour. For tanks with [NO3] of >40 ppm, 150 g Xport-NO3 should be used per 120 US-gallons.
